Relieve the fuel pressure, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, remove the engine cover, remove the air intake duct and air filter housing, remove the upper intake manifold, unscrew the tube nut and disconnect the high pressure fuel pipe from the fuel rail, detach the fuel line from the fuel rail, disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors, remove the fuel rail mounting bolts, remove the retaining clips, remove the fuel injectors from the fuel rail, replace the washer seals, grommets and 0-rings, remove the old combustion chamber Teflon sealing ring and the upper 0-ring and support ring from each injector, thoroughly clean the groove for the seal and the injector shaft, install the new Teflon seal on each injector, lubricate the new upper O-ring with clean engine oil and install it on the injector, thoroughly clean the injector bores with a small round nylon brush, insert each injector into its bore in the fuel rail, install the new retaining clips on the injectors, install the injectors and fuel rail assembly on the cylinder head, and tighten the new fuel rail mounting bolts a little at a time, starting with the center bolt and working outwards.
