How to Remove a Shift Lever Assembly?

To replace the Automatic Transmission Shift Levers, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, remove the center console, remove the knob from the Automatic Transmission Shift Levers, remove the shift cable from the Automatic Transmission Shift Levers assembly, remove the shift interlock cable from the Automatic Transmission Shift Levers base, remove the four nuts, lift the Automatic Transmission Shift Levers assembly clear of the mounting studs.
