- Q:How to Remove a Cooling Fan and Shroud? Posted by Customer
- A:Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, drain the cooling system, remove the radiator upper cover fasteners and cover (if equipped), disconnect the electrical connector, remove the fan/shroud mounting fasteners, disconnect the wiring harnesses to the cooling fans and remove the wiring mounting bracket, hold the fan blades and remove the fan retaining nut, unbolt the fan motor from the shroud, remove the screws and separate the motor from the shroud, and install in reverse order.
