Disconnect the PCV fresh air inlet hose from the valve cover, loosen the air intake duct hose clamps at the throttle body and resonance chamber and disconnect the intake duct from both, loosen the spring-type hose clamp that secures the small hose to the underside of the resonance chamber, loosen the hose clamp at the air cleaner housing and remove the resonance chamber, disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor, remove the air filter box mounting bolts and remove the air filter box, loosen the hose clamps at both ends of the air intake duct and disconnect the air intake duct from the air filter box and from the throttle body, loosen the big hose clamp and pull off the resonator, detach the diagnostic connector from the air filter box and disconnect the electrical connectors from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and from the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, remove the air filter box mounting nut and bolts and remove the air filter box, disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor, disconnect the PCV fresh air inlet hose from the air intake duct, loosen the hose clamps that secure the air intake duct to the air filter box and the throttle body and remove the duct, remove the air filter box cover and the air filter element, remove the fresh air inlet duct, remove the air filter box bolts and remove the filter box, loosen the lug nuts for the left front wheel, raise the front of the vehicle, place it securely on jackstands and remove the left front wheel, remove the left front inner fender splash shield, remove the ambient air inlet box mounting bolts and remove the box.
