- Q:It appears our Kia Rio 2013 SX fuse box inside the drivers area needs replacement. This was because the battery was going dead if we left the fuse in that controls the door locks. That is the battery would go dead overnight. If we took out this 20 amp fuse of course the door locks no longer work but the battery would not drain (Battery OK). Also even with the door lock fuse in the door lock remote does not function anymore. Also a bit more background to this is a while back the car blew this door lock fuse and after that the remote door lock never worked even after replacing fuse. It looks like a relay on this fuse box has gone bad (I would say). Anyway my question is if I buy andreplace this fuse box with a new same part will this part need any sort of special programming to have car accept the part via the car immobilizer and/or the body control Module (BCM)? The part number for the fuse box is "FUSE BOX RELAY JUNCTION BLOCK 91950-1W560 ". Thanks Posted by Customer
