Finish the task by starting with two simple steps: take off the door trim panel, and then proceed with the other steps. Step one: Disconnect the lock bullet, rod that operates the lock, and latch release rod from the door handle assembly. Finally, remove the three door screws at the end and pull out the door handle with care. To install, put the latch where it goes, and tighten the screws before attaching the operating rods to the latch and keeping them in place using clips. Take off the door trim panel, disconnect the operating rods, loosen the mounting nuts, extract the handle from the door, and update what's connected when removing the key lock cylinder and the handle before disconnecting these. Installation is the reverse of removal. To take out the lock cylinder, grab the outside door handle and then slide the lock cylinder out from behind it. Installation is the reverse of removal.
