Remove the battery, air intake duct, air filter housing, and vacuum lines. Then remove the emissions hoses, wiring harness connectors, transaxle cables, and engine. Use an engine hoist to remove the transaxle mount and accessible bolts. Remove the fluid cooler lines, wheel lug nuts, splash shields, hood, and transaxle fluid. Then remove the speedometer cable, starter, exhaust pipe, shifter components, stabilizer bar links, driveaxles, and engine mounts. Remove the driveplate cover, torque converter bolts, and remaining transaxle-to-engine bolts. Flush the cooler lines, engage the torque converter hub in the pump, raise it, align it with the driveplate, and move the transaxle forward until engaged. Install the bolts and oil pan stiffener, refill the transaxle with fluid, start the engine, shift through all gears three times, let the engine reach operating temperature, check the fluid level, road test the vehicle, and check for leaks.
