Later models have antennas integrated into the rear window glass. To detach the antenna mast from its mounting base, unscrew it. If only replacing the antenna mast, simply screw on a new one. For replacing the entire antenna assembly, unscrew the bezel nut from the mounting base, open the rear deck lid, peel back the trunk carpet trim from the left rear corner, disconnect the antenna cable electrical connector, and remove the ground wire bolt. Next, remove the antenna support bracket nut and the antenna assembly. Installation follows the reverse order of removal. To address the antenna cable, first remove the radio and disconnect the antenna cable from its backside. Then, remove the heater/air conditioner control assembly and disconnect the antenna cable from the antenna mast electrical lead. Inside the passenger compartment, remove the driver's seat and rear seat cushion, then peel back the carpeting from the left side. Carefully trace the routing of the cable through the dash before pulling it out. Open the trunk and pull back the carpeting from the left side to expose the antenna cable's route, which goes through a small hole in the left front corner of the trunk. Open the left rear door to note where the antenna cable exits through the small hole at the left end of the rear seat cushion, then pull the antenna cable out through this hole. Installation is the reverse of removal.
