Depressurize the fuel system and disconnect the battery. Lift the vehicle onto jackstands. Disconnect fuel lines, hoses, and electrical connectors from the
Fuel Pump and tank. Remove the bolt from the fuel tank straps, disconnect the EVAP hose, and remove the fuel filler neck hose. Remove the exhaust pipe, heat shield, and fuel tank retaining strap bolts. Remove the rock shields and parking brake cable brackets. On 4WD models, remove the driveshaft. Loosen hose clamps and disconnect hoses. Support and lower the fuel tank, then reconnect the battery. Start the engine and check for leaks.
