It should be noted that the present procedure applies to the car models manufactured starting from 2006. If a balljoint on the described year models-2005 and earlier-who needed replacement, the whole control arm has to be replaced. First, direction control arm ball joint must be disconnected from the steering knuckle. Subsequently, it is necessary to take out the ball joint mounting bolts and then withdraw the ball joint from the control arm. Subsequently, slide the new balljoint into the end of the new control arm, fasten the mounting bolts/nuts, and tighten them to meet the required torque. Last but not the least, secure the balljoint back to the steering knuckle.
