- Q:How do I Remove and Replace the Blower Motor and Resistor/MOSFET? Posted by Customer
- A:Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Working in the passenger compartment under the glove box, disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor (2004 and earlier models) or power MOSFET (2005 and later models). Remove the blower motor resistor/MOSFET mounting screws and remove it from the housing. For blower motor, disconnect the electrical connector, remove the blower motor mounting screws and then remove the blower motor assembly. Remove the circlip from the blower motor shaft to release the fan from the motor. Installation is the reverse of removal. Reconnect the battery.Posted by KiaPartsNow Specialist
