    Where is the MAF/IAT sensor located and how do you remove and install it on Kia Optima? Posted by Customer

    The MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located in the air inlet duct between the air cleaner assembly and the throttle body. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Next, disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor. Then, undo the hose clamps and remove the MAF sensor from the air intake ducts. Installation is the reverse of removal.
