    Relieve the fuel system pressure, then disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the fuel pump/sending unit floor service hole cover and disconnect the hoses and electrical connectors from the fuel pump/fuel level sending unit. Next, remove the fuel filler hose and vent hose, disconnect the fuel feed quick connector near the EVAP canister, and any hoses that would interfere with tank removal. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Support the fuel tank and remove the strap mounting bolts, ensuring that the bolts are removed from each end of the straps. Carefully lower the tank, and for installation, reverse the removal process, tightening the fuel tank strap bolts to the specified torque.
