For 1994 through 1997 models and all Sport age models, begin by removing the center panel bezel, while for 1998 and later models, the instrument cluster bezel should be removed. Next, detach the radio from the dash by removing the four mounting screws. Pull the radio out and disconnect the electrical connector and antenna cable from its backside. For front door speakers, start by removing the front door trim panel, then take out the three speaker mounting screws to detach the speaker from its receptacle. Disconnect the electrical connector by depressing the release tab and pulling it off, then remove the speaker from the vehicle. For rear speakers, remove the rear shelf trim panel, open the trunk to disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker, and then take out the speaker mounting screws to remove the speaker. Installation for all components is the reverse of removal.
