Clamp locking pliers onto the clutch fluid hose, detach the hose from the cylinder, and disconnect the hydraulic line. Remove the cotter pin from the master cylinder pushrod clevis and disconnect the pushrod. Unscrew the clutch master cylinder nuts and remove the cylinder. Use a new gasket between the cylinder and firewall, tighten the mounting nuts, fill the reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid, and bleed the clutch system. Avoid contact between brake fluid and paint to prevent damage.
