How to remove and install the heater and air conditioning control unit on Kia Optima?

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Remove the center trim panel. Remove the screws that secure the A/C Switch to the center trim panel and remove the A/C Switch. Installation is the reverse of removal. Run the engine and check for proper functioning of the heater and air conditioning.
