The motor that attaches to it with a screw or hold-down clip, not to mention ball bearings pressed into its rim-leave these alone; they serve for balancing purposes. Take out the fan blade. Pull off the fan motor from shroud. Installation is just like removal in reverse order. Disconnect condenser cooling fan on 2006 and older models after pulling off cable from battery's negative terminal. Detach the electrical plug, then eliminate the fan fasteners for shroud mounting. Lift out both fans together with their housing unit at once . Reinstall using installation procedure in reverse fashion than when they were removed.
