Starting with the models manufactured between 200 and 2006, start by unbolt the front wheel lug nuts, lift the car, use jackstands to support it and then, take off the front wheel. Subsequently, unbolt the head light housing, then separate the front
Bumper cover from the fender as well as unbolt the wheel well splash shield to clear it away. Disconnect the front bumper and take out two screws that are at the front of the fender and a single bolt that connects the fender to the body at the rear side under the wheel well. Pull this bolt by opening the door on the rear side, and pull the fender as well as the bolts which are on the hood. Safely remove the fender in this case by gently pulling at the fender with the possible help of an assistant so as not to pull of other body parts. To remove the fender, it is advisable to reverse the following: Before tightening the fasteners, align the fender with the hood and front edge of the door. Thus, despite the fact that the location, number, and type of fasteners differ for models 2006.5 and later, the removal of the front fender is similar to the removal described above.
