How do you remove the front and rear bumper covers for Kia Optima?

To take out the front bumper cover on 2001 through 2006 models, engage the parking brake, lift the car and support it with the jack stands. First, use the socket wrench to unstitch the upper bumper cover fasteners in the center part of the bumper and thereafter, unmount the head light housings. Then you want to take out the bumper cover fastening that surrounds the two headlight holes, then the two bolts which are at the top back part of the bumper which affixes the bumper to the fenders one of which can be done while standing at the headlight hole and the other from the front portion of the wheel well. After that, backward the bumper cover, if it did not come off easily check on any other fasteners and installation is opposite to the removal process. For the 2006.5 and later models, the process is started in a like manner with the parking brake engaged and the car jacked up on jackstands. Disconnect the fasteners of the inner fender splash shields and the interior of the wheel wells with the help of a socket wrench after that you take off the fastenings of each end of the bumper cover to front fenders, the trim cover above the radiator as well as the fastener on top and at the underneath side of the bumper cover.
