First, it is necessary to take a large screwdriver or prybar and place it in between the mount and the transaxle, then lift. Check to see that the transaxle does not shift out of place from the mount; if it does, the mount should be replaced. Two lower mounts are at the front and at the rear end of the transaxle and there is another assembly referred to as the upper mount assembly. Place a jack under the transaxle to support it from below, thereafter, you remove the nuts and bolts to remove the mount and depending on the clearance needed, raise the transaxle slightly. The removal and the installation are the opposite processes and during the installation the mount fasteners have to be placed onto the mount and onto the vehicle before they are tightened.
