When unbolting the front bumper cover, you are required to open the bonnet by placing the key on the
Hood Latch and then pull it with a chain Pull the headlight housing off. Lift the automobile on a hydraulic lift or place it on jackstands safely then, pry off the inner fenderwell splash shield. After, unbolt all the bumper fasteners at the top and bottom of the bumper and the corner screws that join the bumper cover to the fenders. For the models before 2005, unbolt the fasteners that make up the top center part of the bumper cover, and detach it from the reinforcement. If needed the fog light, parking, as well as the turn signal light electrical connector must be disconnected before the removal of the bumper cover from the car. For the rear bumper cover, with the liftgate open remove the taillight assemblies. Once more, lift the car and support it with jackstands ; next, undo the fasteners of the upper link of the bumper and the fasteners and of its lower parts on every side, including those which are located in the wheel well. If fitted, remove the parking assist electrical connector and then unclasp the hooks on the extremities of the bumper cover from the tabs in the rear cover brackets and finally take off the rear bumper cover of the automobile. Installation is the opposite of removal in both the front and rear bumper covers.
