After, unbolt all the bumper fasteners at the top and bottom of the bumper and the corner screws that join the bumper cover to the fenders. For the models before 2005, unbolt the fasteners that make up the top center part of the bumper cover, and detach it from the reinforcement. If needed the fog light, parking, as well as the turn signal light electrical connector must be disconnected before the removal of the bumper cover from the car. For the rear bumper cover, with the liftgate open remove the taillight assemblies.
