Most of the models have very limited access to the steering pump which may require the user to remove or order to disconnect some or all the parts in order to access the pump. In this case, you need to start carrying out the procedure in the following steps: Unscrew and remove a cable that connects the negative terminal of the battery with the car's framework. First, turn the steering wheel back and forth several times at low speed and then turn off the engine but do not remove the key before to take at least a half of the power steering fluid from the container with a large syringe or a suction gun and put a drain pan underneath the car to catch the dripped fluid when disconnecting the hoses. Subsequently, unplug the power steering drivebelt, release the fluid feed hose at the pump, and take off the electrical connector at the pressure switch. Screw off the banjo bolt, and get rid of the pressure line from the pump and then undo the mounting bolts to relieve the pump. New sealing washers are to be used when connecting the pressure line on the pump and the banjo bolt should be tightened up to the required torque. Tighten other mounting fasteners and add correctly the fluid to the correct level of the reservoir before proceeding to bleed it.
