Take off the rear wheel lug nuts and, if you have 4WD, the driveaxle/hub nut before you start. After lifting the automobile, stand it on stable jackstands. Take off both the brake brake and the parking brake parts. Take off the wires that send information about the speed of the rear wheel. Remove the rear driveaxle. Unscrew the four nuts holding the bearing assembly to the rear knuckle. Let the bearing and knuckle disconnect first. With 4WD models, a two-jaw puller helps as the hub releases when you unhook both. When installing, turn the fasteners to correct torque values in the opposite way you removed them.
