Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, remove the knee bolster from below the steering wheel, and take off the instrument cluster trim panel. Then, disconnect the electrical connector to the ignition switch, remove the small screw securing the ignition switch to the housing, and take out the switch.

With the key in place, insert a small round tool into the release pin of the ignition switch housing, rotate the key from On to OFF while depressing the pin, and pull the key lock from the housing. To replace it, slide the new key lock into the housing and rotate it from OFF to ON to lock the retaining pin back into place.
