    Q:
Where is the Vapor Pressure Sensor located on Kia Sedona and How to replace it? Posted by Customer
    A:
The fuel pressure sensor is connected directly to the fuel line and is mounted close to the under part of the car, mostly near the right front corner of the fuel tank. Start with the removal of the cable in question with the negative terminal of the battery. The third step is to pop the fuel filler cap to allow pressure to be released inside the fuel tank to gather. Next, unbolt the second row rear seat from the left side of the car and tilt the carpet flap. Following that, the fuel pump/sending unit floor service hole cover should be deleted. Locate the fuel tank pressure sensor connector and unplugging it, afterwards, use a socket wrench to unscrew the fuel tank pressure sensor mounting nuts at the top of the fuel pump module and pulling the sensor off. Replace the O-ring/gasket as earlier to the procedure and then the fuel pressure sensor has to be bolted into place before tightening the nuts and reconnecting the electrical connector. Last of all, join the battery cable back to its position normally.

    Q:
How to disconnect and remove the Canister Purge Valve,Vapor Canister and Vapor Pressure Sensor from a Kia Sorento? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the engine cover, if applicable, then disconnect the electrical connector and vacuum hoses from the purge valve. Remove the purge valve mounting fasteners and take out the purge valve, with installation being the reverse of removal. Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, then remove the protective cover from the EVAP canister assembly, if equipped. The two-way valve is located in the line between the fuel tank and the canister; disconnect the EVAP hoses from it, ensuring correct installation direction indicated by the arrow on the valve. The EVAP canister is mounted to the frame rail near the fuel tank; disconnect the hoses and wiring from the canister closed valve, then remove the EVAP canister mounting bracket bolts to take out the canister and bracket as a single assembly, with installation being the reverse of removal. The vapor pressure sensor is mounted to the rear end of the fuel tank in the line connecting the fuel tank and the canister; disconnect the wiring harness and fuel hoses, then remove the sensor along with its mounting bracket, which can be detached from the sensor after it is out of the vehicle, with installation being the reverse of removal. Finally, disconnect the wiring connector from the canister closed valve and remove the valve from the canister, with installation being the reverse of removal.
