This procedure is applied where a master key had been lost and there is a need to replace it with an extra master key. One must have the ID key in order to do this procedure. If the ID key is missing and the procedure needs to be performed, it is necessary to go to a dealer's service department or to an automotive repair shop which has Hi-Scan diagnosis tool. First you should insert the ID key into the
Ignition Lock Cylinder and rotating it to the 'on' position and then to 'off' position. In the next ten seconds, turn the key which you want to be incorporated into the ignition lock cylinder to the on position followed by the off position; the newly incorporated key is programmed to work with the immobilizer system in the car. If another key is to be programmed, then the process has to be repeated, with the knowing of the fact that only two master keys can be programmed.
