How to remove and install the heater/air conditioning control assembly in a Kia Sedona?

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the center trim panel, center console panel and both center vent assemblies. Remove the A/C Switch mounting screws and pull the assembly forward. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the A/C Switch. Installation is the reverse of removal. For the rear, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Gently pry the rear A/C Switch bezel assembly from the headliner. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the A/C Switch. Remove the mounting fasteners and remove the A/C Switch from the bezel. Installation is the reverse of removal. If the A/C Switch is being replaced, calibration/diagnostic tests will be necessary. This will require a specialized scan tool; take the vehicle to a dealer service department or other qualified repair shop to have this service performed.
