On 2006 and later models, the fuel pressure regulator is part of the fuel pump module. Begin by relieving the fuel system pressure, then disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Next, remove the upper intake manifold. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel return line from the regulator. Remove the two bolts to detach the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel rail. If reinstalling the same regulator, check the condition of the O-ring and replace it if necessary. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
