To remove the steering wheel, first, take the steering wheel and align it in a straight position and then take out the negative terminal of the battery. Next, remove air bag bolts on the one side of steering wheel and then gently pry off air bag module on that side. Unplug the wiring and guarantee the lock on the wire connectors is opened and then put the airbag in a proper position with the pad side up. He also noted the requisite match marks on the steering-shaft and the hub, for proper reassembly; he then expelled the nut in question. Last but not the least, join the negative battery cable again.
