In order to change the mount, there are several steps to follow which include; Unless you have the ability to lift the car by yourself, chock the wheels, and raise the car to the appropriate height and secure it properly on jackstands. Next raise the car with a floor jack and put it under the rear of the transmission then unbolt the mount to the crossmember with Allen bolts. Then, the nuts and bolts are detached to drop the mount and slightly lift the transmission if possible for clearance. For installation, it is done in a sequence opposite to the removal one. For the transaxle mount there is also nuts and bolts that need to be loosened to disconnect the mount Below the transaxle with the aid of a jack and in case of lack of enough space, the transaxle needs to be lifted slightly for clearance. Installation is in the reverse sequence to removal, meaning all mount fasteners have to be attached before any of them can be tightened.
