    Disconnect the fuel supply and return hoses from the pump, then remove the fuel pump retaining screws and carefully lift the fuel pump assembly out of the fuel tank.

    First, disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector. Then, loosen the two spring clamps and slide them off the short hose connecting the pump outlet pipe to the pipe on the underside of the pump assembly mounting flange.
